The Safeskies Australia Conferences Incorporated Executive Committee invites you to participate in Safeskies 2009. An important part of Safeskies 2009 will be the Exhibitions, located in the Gallery and Atrium at Hyatt Hotel Canberra. The Exhibition will be open for the duration of the Conference and will be the meeting place where Morning and Afternoon tea will be served.

 

The Safeskies Conference has been held biennially since 1993 and has been growing steadily over the years attracting 300+ delegates from a wide cross section of the aviation industry from Australia and overseas. Exhibitor Stand Package

 

Dimensions: 3m x 2m
Walls: 2.4 metre high panels. Only Velcro, thumbtacks or pushpins can be used to attach display items to wall.
Name & Fascia: Names using vinyl‐cut lettering onto a white background, with names on all open sides.
Company Name: One company name per stand in computer cut vinyl standard style letters (uppercase lettering on a white background)
Lights & Power: 2 x 150 watt track lights are provided to each booth, along with one double outlet, 4 amp capacity power point.
Conference Kit: One per exhibitor booth including name badges for two representatives, delegate listing, sponsors advertising and conference program/handbook.
Delegate Listing: Subject to privacy legislation, Name, Organisation and State details of all delegates attending the Conference will be made available to sponsors and exhibitors.
Catering: Morning/afternoon tea and lunch for two representatives each day.
Cost: $2,750 (inc G.S.T) per 3m x 2m booth

 

 

Exhibition Details

The Conference Exhibition will be held in the Gallery and the Atrium, ground floor, Hyatt Hotel Canberra. The floor plan had been designed to ensure good visibility and access to all stands. Maximum traffic flow will be encouraged by the placement of catering stations at key points in the exhibition areas for morning and afternoon teas as well as by constant referral. Morning/afternoon tea and lunches are provided to all delegates attending the Conference.

How to Book

Early booking is necessary, as space is limited and booths will be allocated strictly in order of the date, deposit payments and application to exhibit forms are received. In order to confirm your exhibition space, we require the application to exhibit form and fifty percent (50%) deposit payment made. The balance of payment will be required by 28th August 2009. Cheques should be made payable to Safeskies and forwarded to the Conference Secretariat:

General Information for Exhibitors

 

Accommodation

Block bookings have been made at the Hyatt Hotel Canberra and a number of properties near the Conference venue. You can book accommodation directly with the Hotels using a booking code. Please refer to the accommodaiton page for more information

 

Car Parking

Undercover valet car parking at the Hyatt Hotel Canberra is available for hotel at $25.00 per night per vehicle. To access undercover parking, contact Concierge. Alternatively, there are up to 200 external car parks surrounding the hotel which are available on a complimentary basis. Please observe the appropriate parking zones.

 

Insurance

Exhibitors are strongly advised to insure goods during transit and while on display, against damage/loss, however caused, as well as public liability. Exhibitors should note that to ensure valuable items are not left an exhibition stand overnight. In addition the exhibitor acknowledges the Safeskies Australia Conference Incorporated, Conference Logistics and SBX do not maintain insurance covering exhibitor’s property and that it is the sole responsibility of the exhibitor to obtain liability, business interruption and property damage insurance covering such loss by an exhibitor.

Participation in the exhibition does not imply any endorsement or approval by Safeskies Australia Conferences Incorporated. Safeskies Australia Conferences Incorporated takes no responsibility in relation to displays, products, representations or promotional material of the participants. Safeskies Australia Conferences Incorporated had not assessed, endorsed or approved any display, product, representation or promotional material.

 

 

Liability Waiver

Safeskies Australia Conference Incorporated, Conference Logistics, Hyatt Hotel Canberra and SBX will not be liable for injuries to any person or damage to property owned or controlled by exhibitors. Regarding claims for damages or injuries that may arise from or be in any way connected with exhibitor occupation or display space, the exhibitor agrees to defend indemnity and hold the Safeskies Conference Executive Committee and the Conference Organiser harmless against all such claims. The exhibitor agrees to insure itself at its own expense against property loss or damage and against liability or personal injury for property damage.
