** A volunteer is any person who works in a palliative care program or service and
does not generate an income. Volunteers must provide written evidence from the
organisation for which they volunteer.

How to Register

As we are in preparation to move onsite, we are no longer accepting online registrations. You may complete the downloadable Registration Form and fax it to 02 6285 1336 until 10.00am on Tuesday 22 September. After this time you will need to register when you arrive at the Conference.

Cancellation Policy

Delegates who find themselves unable to attend the Conference after submitting a registration form are most welcome to nominate a substitute. All alterations, substitutions and cancellations must be made in writing to the Conference Secretariat:

Cancellations received before 21 August 2009 will be refunded, less an administration fee of $110. Cancellations after 21 August 2009 are not refundable. Exceptions are at the discretion of the organising committee. By submitting your registration you agree to the terms of the cancellation policy.

Accommodation

Please note accommodation bookings through the Conference Secretariat have now closed. If you wish to make an accommodation booking you will need to do so directly with the hotel.

Special room rates have been secured for delegates attending Together! 2009. All accommodation rates are per room, per night and are room only unless otherwise specified. To secure your booking, a deposit of one night’s accommodation must be forwarded with your Conference registration. Delegates are responsible for paying the balance of their account and all incidentals on departure from the hotel.

Please note that all accommodation rates quoted are inclusive of GST. Deposits will be passed on to the hotels and the hotel will be responsible for issuing tax invoices for accommodation payments upon departure.

Accommodation Preferences

Please indicate your first three preferences of hotels when booking accommodation. As limited rooms are available at each property we recommend that accommodation be booked early.

Change of Booking

Amendments to accommodation bookings will only be accepted in writing.

Accommodation Cancellation

Cancellations must be advised in writing to the Conference Secretariat. Cancellations received within 30 days of arrival will attract a penalty of one night’s accommodation.

Billeting

We are able to offer a limited number of billets with local host families for those delegates who are unable to meet the costs of accommodation. If you would like to be considered for a billet please indicate on the registration form and you will be contacted by the Billet Coordinator.
