National Panel on Clinical Engineering Development Workshop

Prior to the annual Conference, the College of Biomedical Engineers and the National Panel on Clinical Engineering present an opportunity for our younger members to participate in a Clinical Engineering Development Workshop.

This Workshop will be held in Canberra from early Saturday, 7 November through Sunday 8 November, inclusive.

Eligibility Criteria

This training/development workshop is intended for emerging or developing Clinical Engineering practitioners at all levels of academic qualification, who are currently practicing within the field of Clinical Engineering. It aims to provide a forum for these individuals to extend both themselves and their biomedical engineering knowledge, to mentor with experienced Clinical Engineers, and to establish or enhance networking opportunities amongst their peers.

Prospective attendees should be seen as committed to Biomedical Engineering as a career, but at the same time be at a relatively early stage in their professional development within it. Participants are expected to provide significant input in terms of preparation and presentation, and hence must be sufficiently motivated so as to participate successfully. It is not an instructional forum.
