Submissions are invited on topics relevant to the Conference theme; however this does not limit or exclude any other potential submission.
SELECTION CRITERIA (All submissions)
Abstracts will be assessed against the following criterion:
PRESENTATION TYPES
Authors should state a preference for their presentation type and address the abstract to one of the Conference themes. However, in balancing the program the Committee may require authors to present their work in an alternate format.
Three types of abstract selected presentation are planned for the Conference:
Oral Presentation
These are formal presentations of original research. Case studies will only be accepted for this type of presentation if they form a significant series to support a recent development in wound care. Presentations will consist of a 10 minute presentation plus 5 minutes for questions and discussion at the end of the presentation. Where possible, presentations with a similar theme will be grouped together.
Poster Presentation
Posters will be permanently on display throughout the Conference. Each poster presenter will be allocated a set time to present the main points of their research. Posters can present research in progress, case studies, divisional projects or clinical topics.
Workshop
In addition to the planned pre-conference workshop, we welcome ideas for additional workshop presentations that may be included within the Conference program. These can be submitted through the normal abstract submission process.
